I enjoyed my interview with Amy and appreciate the article she wrote. Nothing an author appreciates more than a reporter that actually read the entire book on which they are supposed to be reporting.

Thank you to all who have taken the time to read my book on Louisiana women environmentalists. It was an inspiring and motivating journey traveling around Louisiana and interviewing these seemingly ordinary women who accomplished extraordinary things. Although the book focuses on the time period from 1976-1996, the women’s stories are still relevant today. As the population continues to expand, so does the need for our natural resources. Hopefully, after reading the book, you too will be inspired and motivated to step outside of your comfort zone and continue the work of the women pioneers of Louisiana.
